The rules are that an applicant can attempt the test several times during the year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The OSP test lasts 110 minutes and includes 90 tasks and consists of four parts &#8211; verbal, logical, argumentative and quantitative.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Verbal part (23 tasks and 20 min.)<\/strong>. This tests your ability to work with language, know vocabulary, and understand complex texts.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Logical part (22 tasks and 30 min.)<\/strong>. This part will test your logical thinking and analytical abilities.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Argumentative part (22 tasks and 30 min.)<\/strong>. Testing your ability to work with text, understand its content, and see logical connections.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Quantitative part (23 tasks and 30 min.)<\/strong>. Percentage tasks, questions with geometric shapes or unknown quantities.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Each task has several answer options, it is important to remember that for each mistake you will be deducted a part of the score. In addition, the test tasks follow certain principles, and familiarity with these principles allows you to solve them faster and more accurately. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">TSP test at Masaryk University<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Similar principles of student assessment and evaluation are applied in the TSP test at Masaryk University (in Czech, \u201ctest studijn\u00edch p\u0159edpoklad\u016f,\u201d which translates as &#8220;Study Aptitude Test&#8221;).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In general, students must pass the TSP test to gain admission to Masaryk University, with the Faculty of Medicine as an exception.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The exam duration is 100 minutes, each part of the test contains 10 multiple-choice questions. For each question, students earn one point for a correct answer; if they leave a question blank, they receive zero points, and they lose points for an incorrect answer. The TSP test contains the following sections:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Verbal part<\/strong>. Contains tasks related to language, its structure and vocabulary. Students are also required to have language proficiency, the skill to detect semantic links, and the ability to judge the correctness or fallacy of statements. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Digital (or quantitative) part<\/strong>. Here the student must cope with a number of simple mathematical examples that may require knowledge of fractions, the ability to build a graph or solve equations.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Analytical part<\/strong>. The section assesses the applicant&#8217;s logical thinking.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>The &#8220;Critical&#8221; part<\/strong> or tasks testing critical thinking (one of the elements that is not in the OSP SCIO test). The test tests the ability to critically evaluate and analyze disparate information, find arguments and draw conclusions. To pass the tasks, good basic knowledge of the natural sciences and humanities is required.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>The &#8220;Cultural&#8221; part<\/strong> (the second part, which is not in the OSP SCIO test). Here is a collection of tasks on various topics, as the goal is to assess the general outlook of the future student.
